Book NowAbout Namkaran Sanskar
Namkaran is the sacred naming ceremony – one of the 16 Samskaras in Hinduism – typically performed on the 11th or 12th day after birth. The name is chosen based on the baby's birth nakshatra and planetary positions, ensuring an auspicious and meaningful identity.
The ceremony includes Jatkarma, prayers to Surya Deva, chanting of birth nakshatra mantras, and announcement of the baby's name to the family and divine beings.
